Prime Minister's Scholarships for Asia and Latin America
The 2024 application period is closed. The 2025 group applications will open in April, and the individual applications will open in June.
Who can apply?
You can apply for the scholarship if you are at least 18 years old at the date of applying, and are a New Zealand citizen or permanent resident.
We welcome applicants from all stages and walks of life - you don't need to be studying!

What do the scholarships cover?
The scholarships cover tuition fees for offshore institutions (not NZ fees), flights, and a contribution towards internship fees, living, accommodation, visa and insurance costs.
